Oslo, November 2025 – Simplifai, the leading European provider of Agentic AI for insurance claims, today announced that it has signed a services agreement with ERGO Travel Insurance Services (ERGO TIS). The partnership represents a major strategic step for both organizations, aligning AI-driven automation with an ambitious vision for the future of travel insurance operations.

In the first phase of the agreement, Simplifai’s Agentic AI platform will automate categorization and dispatching of 24,000 scanned paper mails and mailboxes per year. Simplifai will in the same phase do Straight-Through Processing (STP) of 15,600 transactions in year 1 alone, before adding value in already mapped out additional phases. This deployment is designed to dramatically reduce processing times and improve service delivery by shifting from workflows measured in days to outcomes delivered within seconds. The automation roadmap will in a controlled manner further enhance the consistency and predictability of ERGO TIS’ operations.

Caroline Hands, Head of Business Transformation and AI at ERGO TIS, commented:
“Partnering with Simplifai is a big step forward for us. By bringing AI into our operations, we’re making things faster, clearer, and more reliable for our customers. It’s a real shift in how we work, and an important move toward our goal of becoming the first-choice MGA.”

Even Birkedal, Regional Sales Director at Simplifai, said: “We’re excited to work with ERGO TIS on this journey. They have a clear vision of what value our collaboration can bring to them and their customers, as well as the potential for other parts of the enterprise’ global operations. This makes us all excited. They’re embracing AI in a practical, forward-thinking way that will truly make a difference for their customers. We’re proud to support them as they scale and transform their claims operations.”

The agreement also reflects a broader transformation journey within ERGO. As the organization moves toward its North Star objective of becoming the market’s first-choice MGA, AI is being positioned not as a technological upgrade but as the core enabler of a new operational philosophy.

The partnership with Simplifai supports this trajectory by bringing advanced Agentic AI into mission-critical processes and by reinforcing ERGO TIS’s commitment to operational customer excellence. With automation built to learn, adapt, and evolve, both organizations view this agreement as a catalyst for redefining claims delivery in the travel insurance market.

Artem Gonchakov, CEO at Simplifai, said: “ERGO TIS made a strategic decision to transform Operations with Simplifai AI Agents, and we are thrilled to be part of their journey. This will bring improvements for both ERGO TIS and their customers and that is the core of what we are all aiming to achieve”
